The Data & Intelligence practice are seeking an experienced Data Delivery Manager to lead the Delivery Management & Assurance discipline.
The role is client facing and pivotal to the quality and reliability of our deliveries and ultimately the growth and effectiveness of the practice. As the Head of Data Delivery Management & Assurance, you will engage with our clients and opportunities right from the idea stage through delivery and on to closure in order to ensure that the engagements we are selling can be delivered consistently, efficiently and effectively with minimal risk to the business.
What you'll be doing:
Your responsibilities include:
- Accountable for assuring our proposals are deliverable;
- Approving that proposals have a sufficiently bounded scope supported by well articulated risks, assumptions, dependencies, delivery plans and resourcing profile so as to be ‘fit for purpose’.
- Ensuring that we have sufficient delivery management and assurance oversight baked into all proposals.
- Accountable for management of deliveries and assurance of live engagements;
- Develop and rollout best practice delivery models and governance frameworks.
- Management of in-flight deliveries, including RAID, finances & reporting.
- Assuring the data delivery portfolio.
- Ensuring that the other disciplines and sub-focus areas are providing the correct level of assurance and oversight.
- Responsible for ensuring that projects are closed down correctly;
- Ensuring that credentials and lessons learnt are captured & shared.
- Ensuring that re-usable assets are created and logged.
- Responsible for the professional development of the Data Delivery Management & Assurance team;
- Hiring the professionals required to deliver the work in our pipeline.
- Ensuring that our Data Delivery Management & Assurance professionals are correctly objectivised to deliver the needs of the Data & Intelligence practice and develop themselves.
- The chargeability and occupation of the Data Delivery Management & Assurance team.

- Better quality and confidence in the deliverability of our Data & Intelligence proposals.
- Increased efficiency, quality and reliability of our Data & Intelligence engagements.
- No red Data & Intelligence projects.
- Project margins measured, understood and aligned with expectations set at point of contract.
- Your role is cost neutral with 40% of your time being billed to clients and the balance recovered through your work on identified client opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven awareness and understanding of the data landscape, from terminology and key concepts to the various technologies available.
- Proven understanding of the various challenges that our clients face, including integration, security, release management and service management.
- An understanding of the different types of integrations (API, Batch, Real Time).
- Proven experience in engaging, reporting to and working with senior programme leaders, sponsors and stakeholders whilst also leading a team to successful delivery.
- Ability to draw from experience of numerous data transformation projects you have led in order to focus on the non-functional elements of delivery.
- Expertise in driving growth and profitability through strategic planning and execution.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
